Riley is out of our beautiful girl Bella! Little Riley just clawed her way into my heart and I couldn't bear to part with her from the very beginning! From the moment she was born she was eye catching. She was the darkest puppy and of course we spent a LOT of time staring at her since her littermates just weren't ready to make an appearance. So she hung out with us and her Mom until they were! Guess we bonded early on before anyone else got the chance to. Smart girl!
Riley is the cutest puppy (I know they are ALL cute!), and she is so smart. Potty training has been a breeze and cuddling with her is such a joy! The potty training thing was really appreciated after Jenna (a.k.a. little devil)! Most Ridgebacks potty train pretty easily, but there are exceptions to every rule!! OK sorry, this is Riley's page, so back to her!
Riley is a bold girl who doesn't scare easily. She is the first one to the gate when we have visitors and even barks bigger than some of the older guys! However, if you go to pick her up, she is the biggest weanie! Such extremes for this little girl. Maybe we should have called her "Drama"! But we love her like crazy!
Riley is my daughter Savannah's dog. She was bound and determined that one of the dogs be hers and she requested Riley. Her being the youngest, it was not a surprise. The funniest day was when Riley out grew her crate and Savannah says to me (keep in mind... she's 6 years old). "I don't know what I'm going to do Mommy. I don't have the money to buy her another crate! I'm too little to get a job!" I laughed when I reallized she really thought that SHE (Riley's MOM) had to get her another crate. But, I was also happy to see that she takes her "ownership" of Riley seriously. By the way, we helped out just a little when it was time to get Riley a new crate! ; o )
Bella, me and Savannah of course, are going to have lots of fun watching this girl grow up! Stay tuned!
