We got Jenna from our great friend Ginny Merchant of Kengali Rhodesian Ridgebacks! She was the pick female in the litter and we were so thrilled to have her! She is a gorgeous girl with beautiful conformation and an attitude to match!
Jenna received her AKC championship at just over 2 years of age, on 01/02/2009. This made Jenna our first ever AKC champion and we were so very excited! I handled Jenna to 9 of her points (including 2 majors) and Ginny handled her to the remaining 6 points, which included another 3 point major! This girl has the IT factor and then some!
Jenna is also quite the Diva. She NEVER wants to be on the floor... always in my lap or as close to me as she can possibly get! She is a lover though and I don't mind her snuggling up to me on the couch at all! Jenna's other weird habit is she hates my camera! Not sure why, but as long as I'm not pointing it at her, she's fine. If she sees me moving it to face her, she turns her head and walks away! How ironic that such a stunning girl doesn't want her picture taken. Before long I'm going to have to dress up in leaves, moss and camo, like some wildlife photographer, just to catch a picture of Jenna "in her natural habitat"!
